Meals on Wheels Hillsborough County Operates in Revitalized, Efficient Space.

Manchester, NH - October 29, 2024 - Sullivan Construction is proud to announce the successful completion of the renovation project for the Meals on Wheels of Hillsborough County offices. With the Certificate of Occupancy secured, the organization is ready to operate from their newly transformed space, designed to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and productivity. The vibrant and welcoming environment reflects the mission of Meals on Wheels, which continues to serve the community with renewed energy and capabilities. 

The renovation project, expertly managed by the Sullivan Construction team, included both interior and exterior upgrades. The transformation addressed previously underutilized "dead space," converting it into functional, valuable square footage while ensuring that Meals on Wheels could maintain daily operations with minimal disruptions. 

“The original layout featured uneven levels of flooring, creating different heights in the space and made the space inefficient and difficult to use," said Tom Sullivan Jr., Project Manager and VP of Development at Sullivan Construction. "With the help of top-notch designs by Warrenstreet Architects, Inc., we leveled the floors, integrated new structural support, and maximized the square footage. This allowed us to create a reception area, conference room, three private offices, and ADA-compliant ramps for both the building and production area. We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve done and honored to support such a fantastic organization.” 

The renovated facility now offers a more efficient layout, improved accessibility, and increased capacity to better serve the Meals on Wheels program. These improvements will allow the organization to further its mission of delivering nutritious meals and support to seniors and individuals in need across Hillsborough County.
